- Riverside High
WEEKLY UPDATE/MENSAJE SEMANAL 5/8/2023
Good afternoon, Pirate families,
This is Dr. Woods-Weeks calling with the weekly update. Congratulations to the Riverside Dance Team under the tutelage of Ms. Duncan for a stellar performance of "The Princess and the Frog" last week. It was a sensational performance.
Also, congratulations to the JROTC for a spectacular evening of amazing awards and recognition at Friday night’s banquet. You are to be commended for a job well done students! Hats off to Major Bailey for all you do for our school community. It was a marvel evening.
Please join us for “Teacher Appreciation Week, May 8-12 as we honor our amazing educators who drive the future leaders of tomorrow! Let’s show our support for our children’s teachers and tell them how much their commitment and dedication to our children is so appreciated.” 😊
Parents, we have just five weeks left before we begin final exams. Progress reports will be distributed Monday, May 8, 2023. Please ensure your scholar shares this/her report. There is still time to improve and finish the year strong. If you have questions or concerns about your scholar’s performance, please contact the teacher of record. We want a strong finish for everyone! Let me know how I may assist.
Earlier this spring, the date of this week's orchestra concert was changed from Friday, May 12th to Thursday, May 11th so as not to conflict with the Engineering Program’s field trip. The Band and Chorus concert will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Please come out Thursday, May 11th and support our students.
