Good afternoon RHS families,

This is Dr. Woods-Weeks calling with the weekly update. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing PTA for another fantastic FriYah event. Thank you for supporting our faculty, staff, and school community.

Shout out to the music in schools’ concert last week. Students had an exceptional performance. And hats off to our band and orchestra student for an impressive performance as well.

Also, on behalf of the Riverside PTA, congratulations to Ms. Laura Brady for being selected as the winner of a Riverside Pirat Hero Award! This award recognizes a Riverside teacher, coach, or other staff member who has gone above and beyond to support our community.

Please join me in congratulating our 2023 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Christy Simpson. Good luck to you Ms. Simpson as you advance to the next level of the competition. Congratulations!

During the session you will have a chance to formally sign your AIG paperwork, learn more about the advanced options we offer, and your opportunities for post graduate studies. REGISTRATION

Counselors are finishing up registration sessions with our students this coming week, March 6th – 10th. If your student has not attended a session yet to select their classes for next school year, they should check both their school email and their Canvas accounts for their appointment time. Counselors are not scheduling individual appointments for registration. It is happening in small group sessions. If students do not attend the sessions to select their classes, they will be selected for them.
