The Northern High School Fire Academy Program offers students the opportunity to learn and obtain credits/certifications in life saving skills for Firefighting and Emergency Services. Classes consist of Public Safety 1, Fire Technology I, II, and III instructional and hands-on training while in high school. Along with these exceptional credits, students would learn about how they can share their knowledge with other students, their families, and the community. Students can also have the opportunity to meet firefighters at local stations, take field trips to observe and perform hands-on realistic training, while earning certifications, which are recognized by the North Carolina Office of the State Fire Marshall. Join us in this exciting and ritual experience!'
