What is ACCESS Testing?

Each year, students identified as ELs (English Learners) are required to take the ACCESS or Alternate ACCESS assessment. This assessment has four parts (domains) that are administered to students over the course of about a month. It provides important information regarding student progress in acquiring English and for schools to use when deciding how to organize services and supports for students.

Primary Testing Window: January 23-March 3

Make-up (Late enrollees/final make-ups): March 6-10
