Parents Right to Know
Under Title I in North Carolina, parents have the right to know important information about their child's education. This includes the qualifications of their child's teachers, whether their child is taught by teachers who meet state qualifications, and details about the academic progress of their child. Schools must inform parents about any teacher who does not meet these qualifications. This ensures that every child gets a quality education. If you have questions or need more information, the school is always ready to help.
For specific questions about Title I please contact our Title I Coordinator Lisa Smith lisa_smith@dpsnc.net
