Weekly Announcement - January 9, 2022

Hello New Tech Family! This is Principal Wright with your weekly update.

Scholars, please remember if you have Durham Tech classes tomorrow, Monday, January 10th starts the new semester! You must log in to your class tomorrow or attend class tomorrow on campus if you have a Monday class on campus, and the same for the rest of this week. Attending class online or in-person the first day is required.

If you have class on campus and plan to ride the New Tech bus to Durham Tech, the bus will depart from New Tech at 12:15 PM and return to New Tech by 3:50 PM each day.

Also, we should receive books and materials for Durham Tech classes this week. I will email and call you to let you know when you may pick up books and materials this week for your Durham Tech classes.

Please note that report cards will be issued Tuesday, January 11th, instead of tomorrow at the end of the 2nd period. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The PTSA will meet this Wednesday, January 12th, start time of 6:30 PM. See the zoom link below.

Lastly, scholars, please remember the weather is changing; therefore, dress in layers or bring some extra layers just in case you need to walk to and from the gym or the modular. That’s all for now. We look forward to seeing everyone appropriately wearing your mask in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, with the right people. Stay safe and stay healthy!
