Water Conservation Poster Contest

Make Waves by Saving Water Poster Contest

Each year the City of Durham’s Department of Water Management sponsors a water conservation poster contest. This contest brings attention to the importance of water as a resource.
They invite your students in grades 6-8 to use their artistic talents to celebrate drinking water and promote water conservation. The contest is designed to encourage our local young artists to express their own ideas in relation to the chosen theme. This year’s theme is “Make Waves by Saving Water.” Students should show how efforts to save water can start as a ripple and become a wave of change!
Entries are due no later than April 14, 2025. Entries can be submitted online or mailed directly to the contest sponsor.
