Dear Gryphon Families,

It is my pleasure to announce that The School for Creative Studies will be hosting after school tutoring for EOC/EOG courses.   After school tutoring will begin November 14th and end on December 7^th.  Tutoring will take place after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30. Snacks will be provided for students who attend. Transportation will be provided for students who already have existing bus transportation arrangements to the school.  Students who do not ride the bus to school during the school year will have to be picked up. Please note that if your child uses district transportation for after school tutoring, it is likely that they will not return home from school until after 6pm.

After school tutoring is designed towards improving skills needed to be successful on your child’s EOG/EOC exams.   Your student has been selected to attend after school tutoring using data gathered from the district benchmark exams as well as classroom data.  Students who are in 6^th and 7^th grade will receive extra support in Math and ELA. Students in 8^th grade will receive support in Math, ELA, and Science.  Lastly, students in high school will receive extra help in Biology, Math 1, Math III and English II.  The schedule was created with the individual needs of the students in mind.  Therefore, students who have multiple EOC/EOG’s will receive support in the tests they are expected to take.  Do not miss this fantastic opportunity for your student to receive extra support and preparation for their end of grade and end of course exam.
