Greetings from the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) for the 2023-24 school year!

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new students and their families to the DSA community. I know you will find this to be a wonderful school. If your child is returning, then welcome back! I would also like to introduce myself as the President of the DSA Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). The PTSA meets with staff and helps enrich the student experience here at DSA. We are parents of students at the school, and we raise money to help pay for items that the school cannot purchase.

Over the last several years the PTSA has supported the school by providing money for projects, supplies, and student stipends. This has included funding senior celebrations and middle school awards, providing staff lunches, teacher workday and appreciation activities, supplying new technology for the photography lab, supporting the Día de Los Muertos, assisting with upgrades to the LMC, hosting the annual Club Fair, and so much more!

OUR ASK:

Rather than host multiple fundraisers throughout the year, we do one annual campaign. This year our campaign goal is to raise $20,000. If each family made a gift of $25 we could easily exceed our goal! (You of course can give more.)

NO amount is too small, as anything we raise directly benefits the students of DSA. I hope you will consider making a donation to help to ensure current and future students have a great experience at DSA. There are two ways to make your tax deductible donation:

Me gustaría aprovechar esta oportunidad para dar la bienvenida a todos los nuevos estudiantes y sus familias a la comunidad de DSA. Sé que encontrarán esta escuela maravillosa. Si su hijo está regresando, ¡bienvenido de nuevo! También me gustaría presentarme como la Presidenta de la Asociación de Padres, Profesores y Estudiantes (APPE) de DSA. La APPE se reúne con el personal y ayuda a enriquecer la experiencia de los estudiantes aquí en DSA.
