Durham Public Schools
 offers several different options for students who are interested in summer enrichment opportunities. Below is a list of programs currently being offered by DPS. If you have any questions about any of the programs listed below, please contact the designated contact for the program.

  • OPERATION SUMMER LEARNING

    Various Locations
    Session 1: June 14- July 2 | Session 2: July 12-July 30

    Monday-Thursday | Full-Day In-person | Friday Virtually Asynchronous
    *Breakfast, lunch, and transportation provided.

    Operation Summer learning is a comprehensive learning program designed to support students in recovering from learning loss experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to access and exposure to grade-level content, students will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of enrichment activities. This program was designed to connect students back to school in a fun and engaging way.  *High School students will have an opportunity to access credit recovery modules.

    All students may apply for enrollment. Students who received an academic notification letter will be given priority enrollment.
