Good evening Githens.  This is Dr. Lanier with important information regarding Title I.

Title I is a federally funded program that provides a variety of services to include purchasing materials and supplies to improve student achievement and academic growth and offering opportunities for parental involvement. The district’s goal is to identify a parent/guardian to be actively involved in our Title I schools. We are soliciting your participation as a Githens Title I representative. Parent Canvas Observer Access: Parents are highly encouraged to sign up to be an observer in Canvas.  Teachers will post homework assignments for scholars in Canvas and will be responsible for keeping these pages updated.
