Fourty-Eight Durham Public Schools Students Excel in Summer Internship Program

Durham Public Schools sponsored 48 student interns along with the 14 companies and departments where they worked this summer. Each student worked 120 hours on the job, training and learning about their company, earned a stipend of $1800, and completed the Conover Work Readiness Credential. Most students also completed the Generation Next training with Dale Carnagie.
