“It’s appropriate that the Durham County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved their 2023-24 budget on the last day of our students’ spring graduation ceremonies. This is a forward-looking budget that fully funds our own funding request while also investing in childhood health, pre-K readiness, and post-graduate success. I’m personally grateful to the commissioners and the County Manager for their support of Durham Public Schools.”
