Good evening Carrington Families, this is Carrington calling with updates for the week of September 5, 2022.

Cougar Country, please support our first Carrington fund raiser.  Please join Mangum Elementary, Little River,  Lucas and Carrington Middle schools for a fun filled evening of food, festivities and a 5k/Fun Run on Friday, September 30th at the Coffey Ground Ranch in Bahama, NC. The 5k event begins at 5:30, followed by the Fun Run at 5:45. Fall Festival activities will begin at 6:00 with the event concluding at 9:00 pm. We look forward to this exciting event and how you can show your support by running, participating and attending.  We are also excited to announce the addition of an America Ninja Warrior-like 60 ft obstacle course including a warped wall.  Also, we have a Fort Night Gaming trailer onsite for the evening as well.  We hope to see everyone at this amazing event and thank you for all you do to support Cougar Country.  Please register at https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Bahama/MangumElementary5k

Parents, please mark your calendars:  Carrington with host a curriculum night on Spetember 21, 2022 at 5:30pm.  More details will follow. 

This week in sports:  Volleyball, Boys Soccer and Football will have practice.  Girls tennis tryouts will begin on Wednesday, September 7th.  All girls interested in trying out for tennis need to make sure they have completed the athlete registration on the Carrington website.  Then, make sure you have your physical, concussion form and any other medical forms needed.  Please give all forms to Ms. Hurst.  We will have a parent meeting for the following teams: Volleyball, Boys Soccer, and Football on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 5:30 pm.  One parent must be present at the meeting.
