This is Principal Cheek with your weekly message. We only have school Monday and Tuesday which is an early release day.

Our only athletic event for this week is boys' and girls' basketball tryouts from 4:00 pm -6:00 pm on Monday.

Please mark your calendars for the following events that will happen in December:

Thursday, December 5, a meeting for parents of students who play winter sports will be held at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria.  At least one parent must be present for the meeting.

The Book Fair is coming to the CMS Media Center December 9-13. We will have family night Dec. 11 with extended hours till 8:00 PM, so you can shop after our night of music.

SwagBRRR Day is a school-wide event to celebrate students who have shown positive behavior and good attendance for the fall semester. This year we are headed to Galaxy Fun Park for SwagBRRR Day on the following dates: 6th Grade students will attend on Friday, December 13th, 7th Grade students on Wednesday, December 18th, and 8th Grade students on Thursday, December 19th. In order to participate, students must not have received a Full Day of RPC or Out of School Suspension since Sept. 24th. Additionally, students must not have more than 10 unexcused absences since Sept. 24th. The cost to attend is $25 per student. Please make your purchase online at bit.ly/gfp24 now through Dec.11th.
