Good Evening, Cougar Families! This is Principal Cheek with your weekly message.

Families, please ensure that we have updated information for you in our PowerSchool database. We need correct phone numbers and addresses so that we can effectively communicate with you in case of emergencies or in light of our recent transportation challenges. Thank you for partnering with us to maintain open lines of communication.

Our 6th grade Incredibles and Jedi Knights’ Teams are hosting Data Night Monday, October 21 from 6:30-7:30. At this meeting, we will discuss:
*What is an EVAAS projected goal?
*Data Folders
*Your student’s EVAAS projected growth goal for both reading and math.
*How you can help support your student at home.

It would be most beneficial for you and your student to attend; however, if your student cannot make it, please feel free to come.

We have lots of games this week: Monday October 14, volleyball, and boys’ soccer will host Lakewood. Tuesday, October 15, boys’ soccer will host Lucas. Wednesday, October 16, football, and cheerleading will travel to Shepard while volleyball will host Lucas.  Thursday, October 17, volleyball, boys’ soccer, and cross country will travel to Lucas. All athletic events will start at 4:45 pm.

Skill development for boys and girls basketball will begin on Tuesday, October 22. Students must complete the registration process on Dragonfly (that can be found on the athletics website) and have a current physical.
