Greetings, Carrington Families!
It's Principal Cheek with your weekly message for the week of September 23.

We want to make sure that we utilize every avenue to communicate with our families. To that end, our school (and district) use the Talking Points platform. Please see the newsletters sent by your child's teachers for further directions for the use of Talking Points.

There is no school tomorrow, September 23. Please be on the lookout for our first progress reports to come home Wednesday afternoon.

Carrington’s Fall Food Drive is this week Tuesday 9/24 - Friday 9/27. We're asking students to bring canned and other non-perishable food items into their homeroom teacher. The top-collecting homerooms from each grade level will receive a pizza party.

This week in sports, Tuesday, September 24, volleyball and boys soccer will travel to Lakewood.  Wednesday, September 25, football and cheerleading will host Brogden. Thursday, September 26, volleyball and boys soccer will host Lowes Grove. Friday, September 27, volleyball and boys soccer will travel to DSA. All games are scheduled to start at 4:45 pm.

Team picture day for volleyball, boys soccer and cross country will be on October 1.

Pep Band and All-County Band audition practice will be held after school from 3:30 - 5:30 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. Students staying after school must have parental permission and be able to be picked up promptly at 5:30 PM. For any questions, please contact Mr. Halliday.
