Good Evening, Families! This is Principal Cheek with your updates for the week of September 9.

It's been another amazing week in Cougar Country! We found out that our
school exceeded growth again this year, and that Carrington was in the
top 100 schools in NC to do so! What an amazing accomplishment!

Our students participated in behavior expectation meetings this week. During these, we discussed school procedures, policies, and incentives. Students should be able to articulate those expectations and adhere to them.

Please note the following things that are happening in Cougar Country this week:

Tuesday, September 10th - Curriculum Night, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, September 10th - Fall Sports Parent Meeting 5:00 pm (at least one parent must be present)

Our students will also participate in beginning of the year iReady and Reading Plus assessments this week.

Next week, on September 16, we will take Fall pictures.
