Greetings this Carrington with an update for the week of February 4th,
After school math tutoring will begin Tuesday February 5th from 3:30-4:30 and is available for all students! Please contact your student’s math teacher or Mrs. Snyder if you are interested in your student participating in this great opportunity.
This week in sports, Tuesday, February 6th, is 8th grade night. Cheerleaders, boys’, and girls’ basketball will host Brogden. The game will start at 4:45 pm. The girls will play first followed by the boys’ game. Tickets can be purchased on GoFan.com. The link is on the athletic webpage. Tickets are $8.00, free for elementary age and younger. Middle and Elementary school students must be accompanied by an adult to enter and must remain with them during athletic events. Please review our stadium policy and procedures on the athletic webpage. There is also a clear bag and no re-entry policy in place for our athletic events.
If you are interested in playing Spring Sports (track and field, softball, baseball, girls' soccer) you will need to complete the registration on https://www.dragonflymax.com and upload your current sports physical, and Gfeller Waller (concussion form) by February 14th, 2024. You must have passed 5 out of 6 classes from the 1st semester of the 2023-2024 school year and have no more than 13.5 absences to meet eligibility requirements. If you tried out for a fall sport (football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, or boys’ soccer) registration isn’t required.
Thursday, February 15th winter sports banquet will be held in the cafeteria at 5:30 pm. Student-athletes will receive a free ticket. Parents and other guests the cost will be $8.00. Tickets can be purchased on GoFan for both student -athletes and parents until February 13th.
