Principal's Update for the Week of 1/14/24

Greetings, this is Carrington with an update for the week of January 14th 

Monday, January 15th is the Martin Luther King holiday.  There will be no school for students and our offices will be closed.  January 16th is a teacher workday, there will be no school for students

Parents' report cards will be distributed on Tuesday, January 23rd.

Families, next week we will start a campaign to help students improve their attendance during the 3rd quarter. The third quarter starts next week and ends during the last week of March. During this time, we will give regular raffle prizes to students who show improvement in their attendance or who show 95% attendance. Please help us ensure that your child has strong attendance!

Is your student interested in traveling to the Czech Republic, Germany, and Switzerland during Spring Break 2025?  An art class at the remains of the Berlin Wall, bike tours, a German cooking class,  a Swiss Alps experience, a WWII Underground Prague tour, and much more is awaiting your student!

This week in sports, Thursday, January 18,  Boys and Girls Basketball will travel to DSA. The game will start at 4:45 pm.  The girls will play first followed by the boys game. Tickets can be purchased on The link is on the athletic webpage.  Tickets are $8.00, free for elementary age and younger. Middle and Elementary school students must be accompanied by an adult to enter and must remain with them during athletic events. Please review our stadium policy and procedures on the athletic webpage. There is also a clear bag and no re-entry policy in place for our athletic events.
