Good afternoon Cougar Country,

Parents, report cards were distributed on Thursday, April 6.  Please take time to review your child’s grades and attendance with them.

Monday, April 10, is a teacher workday.  There is no school for students on Monday.

Students, the deadline for purchasing a yearbook is April 15.  

Parents, April 17- 24,  students will complete the Durham Public Schools end of year local benchmark tests. These important assessments will gauge where students are academically at this point in the school year and before the state end of grade testing.  

All students will take the reading benchmark on Monday, April 17. On Tuesday, April 18, students will take the math benchmark.  On Wednesday April 19,  the science benchmark test will be completed by 8th grade students only. 

Students who are absent from school on the test dates will have to complete the test on one of our make-up test dates, April 19-24.

Please remind your students to get lots of rest the night before, power off their computers the night before and be sure to bring their charged laptop with a power cord the day of the testing. 

This week in sports, all games are away this week.  When attending away games,  you must go to the opposing team's website and link to purchase tickets.   The cost for a game ticket is $5.00.
