Monday, February 20, 2023 is a teacher workday.  There will be no school for students.

Parents, progres reports will be distributed in all classes on Tuesday, February 21.  Please take time to review your child’s academic and attendance reports on Tuesday.

Applications for the Emily K Center in Durham are open for all of their K-12 free programs.  This program provides academic support to over 2,000 DPS students, alongside college and career planning.  The Emily K Center will host an open house for all programs on Monday, February 20th at 5pm in their building located at 904 W. Chapel Hill Street, Durham.  More information www.Emilyk.org

Carrington supporters, we ask for your help in our fundraising effort to generate money to provide needed programs, materials, and resources to our school family. The Fall Festival Fundraiser which was rescheduled from September 30th, 2022 is on for Friday, March 3rd 2023. You may use the link below to register for the fun run, the festival activities and food or to provide a much needed monetary donation to  Carrington.

In order to comply with new district microwave regulations, students will no longer be allowed to microwave food during lunch.  Students, if you bring your lunch to school, please be advised that you will not be permitted to heat up your food at school. 

Tryouts for baseball, softball, and girls soccer will begin on February 27-March 1.  Track and Field tryouts will begin on March 1-March 3.  Boy’s tennis will start on March 6.
