Sandy Ridge art teacher, Martha Murphy, worked with select 5^th grade students to create public art at the American Tobacco Campus on Saturday, November 17. In Ms. Murphy’s class, students worked to complete a project on color, the value scale, and abstract design. Students used what they learned to create a "re-imagined" color wheel on three large cement blocks in Downtown Durham.
