March 7, 2018 - More than 30 companies, colleges, military, city and county personnel convened at C. E. Jordan High School on March 7, 2018 at 9:15 am. for the Career and College Expo.  Student began streaming into the Media Center around 10:00 am after the Statewide Tornado Drill with prepared questions to “speed date” college fair participants for 20 minutes. It was an awesome event in which students had an opportunity to inquire about occupations, internships, summer jobs and college majors. Students were given various kinds of swag and treats with an amazing opportunity to handle a live snake from the Veterinary Hospital.  Several comments were made about the event by teachers, administrators and participants; “full of positive energy”,” great questions”, “lots of fun”, “well organized” and according Agriscience teacher, Kelsie Sommerfeld, “My students left and had wonderful things to say about their experience, which translates to me that it was a success.”
