Celebrating National Career Development Month
November 1, 2021 - Throughout the month of November, DPS celebrates National Career Development Month with a series of activities allowing students to explore "all things career".
Each school will publicize events, create presentations and schedule classroom visits to expose students to career options. Week 1 spotlights the DPS Virtual Career Expo and career tips around job interviews, professional skills, how to research a career, and more. Week 2 highlights CTE Pathways available at each school while Week 3 exposes students to career opportunities within the military. Finally, Week 4 encourages students to sign up for the NCDA Poetry Contest.
