Weekly Message for the Week of 5/3/21

Good morning Parkwood Community,

Tomorrow, Monday May 3, is a very important day for two great reasons:  first, we get to welcome back our in-person learners to campus; second, it is Teacher Appreciation week!   Please take some time to express your appreciation of our staff this week in whatever way feels appropriate to you.  An email is always a great way to let your child’s teacher know you appreciate them.  All staff email addresses can be found on our website.

I wanted to take a moment to review the arrival and dismissal procedures for our in-person learners.  Please remember that our doors open at 7:15am and students are tardy after 7:45am.

Car Rider/Walker Morning arrival:

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade students will enter Parkwood via the Clermont Road entrance (turning right/left at the light at Revere Road).
  • Kindergarten and 4th grade students will enter Parkwood via the upper parking lot, directly off of Revere Road.

Please also remember that our in-person learners need to complete a health screener each day before coming to campus.  Families, please complete this health screener prior to putting your child on the bus or getting in the car each morning.  You can complete the screener each day by using this link and putting in your student’s ID number.  For our car riders – please save the screen that shows the green check that indicates your child has cleared the screening.  This makes our student check-in process during morning arrival much easier.  Thank you for your support!
