Hello Parkwood Families,

This is your principal, Ms. Fearrington with an important message.  As stated in my Sunday message I am providing the parent notification letter for Parkwood Elementary’s designation as a Targeted Support and Improvement Additional Targeted Support (TSI-AT) school. 

During the release of the School Performance Data by the North Carolina Department of Instruction in September 2022, Parkwood Elementary was designated as a Targeted Support and Improvement Additional Targeted Support (TSI-AT) school.  Since Parkwood has been identified as TSI-AT school, we are required to notify parents of our school’s designation by November 15, 2022, which includes posting a parent notification letter on our school website.  This letter will include information about our comprehensive plan that will specifically address how we will improve student achievement.  This letter will be posted to our website, provided in an email and sent to families through school messenger on November 15, 2022.  If you have any questions, please contact Kimberly Fearrington by email at Kimberly_fearrington@dpsnc.net or call 919-560-3962 ext. 62222.
