DPS Advanced Academics Website, PreK-12

To promote greater transparency and communication with all stakeholders, the Office of Advanced Academics is excited to launch the DPS Advanced Academics Website.  This site will allow all viewers to receive information on:  

• Identification information with nomination forms for parent/family, community member, educator, peer, or self
• Educator resources to meet the needs of all students with a focus on advanced learners
• Articles, advice, & strategies for families updated weekly
• Advanced Placement/AP resources for students, teachers, coordinators, and administrators
• Critical action information to change mindsets, policies, and practices to ensure equity in advanced academics
• DPS AIG Plan as aligned to the DPS Strategic Plan, NC AIG Program Standards, and current legislation for advanced and nurtured students
• Information and links to Early Admission to Kindergarten, Credit by Demonstrated Mastery, K-2 Investigations, Equitable Course Guide, and much more
