Parents of Durham Public Schools fifth, seventh, and eleventh graders are asked to grant permission for their students to take a survey that will give them a chance to tell how they feel about attending Durham Public Schools. It's called a Climate Survey and we have administered it for several years. We want to know what makes your student feel good or proud to be a DPS student, and if there are things we need to improve so that they can feel good about learning in DPS. Due to the new Parents’ Bill of Rights, we’re asking for your consent to allow your student to participate. Until Friday, You may grant permission for your student to take the survey here. The survey will be administered between Monday, Nov. 20 and Friday, February 2. You may opt in through January 19.

Les pedimos a los padres de los estudiantes de quinto, séptimo y onceavo grado de las Escuelas Públicas de Durham que den permiso para que sus estudiantes tomen una encuesta que les dará la oportunidad de decir cómo se sienten con respecto a estudiar en las Escuelas Públicas de Durham.
