Good evening Hillandale Families,
This is Principal Hart-Olivis with a special message as we officially begin the week of spring break.
Hillandale will be closed for spring break this week, Monday, March 29 through Friday, April 2 for both in-person learning and online learning. As we approach this time of relaxation and time together, there are a few reminders I would like to share with you.
If you’re taking this time with your family to travel, please remember to stay safe, especially since we’re all eager to get back to normalcy amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The plan at Hillandale has worked for the time we have been back since our year away, and I know we all hope the break gives us a safe, healthy opportunity to unwind. If you travel, please remember to follow the “three Ws” to avoid possible transmission of the virus to you. If you find yourself or your child developing the unpleasant symptoms of COVID-19, please reach out to us as soon as possible. If you or your family need help, we may be able to assist you with what next steps to take as you or your child recover. Thank you for being diligent so far as our students returned to in-person learning; this is our best way of avoiding transmission in the school as well as classroom closures.
We hope you have a wonderful, healthy spring break. We’ll see students back at Hillandale in-person or online Monday, April 5.
