4/4/2021 Welcome Back

Good evening Hillandale Families,

This is Principal Hart-Olivis calling to remind you that school, both virtual and in-person are back in session tomorrow, Monday, April 5.

We hope you had a wonderful, healthy spring break.  As we welcome students back to in-person and online classes, remember to help the carpool process run quickly by completing each child’s health screener each morning before joining the carpool line.  You may receive an email in the morning, or you can use this link and save your results for us to see in the single line at carpool.  Remember to remain in line until your child is cleared by a Hillandale staff member and welcomed out of the car to join us in the building.

If you had an opportunity to take time at spring break to travel or celebrate a holiday with family last week, please be extra cautious about any potential symptoms or exposure to the COVID-19 virus.  The plan at Hillandale has worked during our time back in the building, and to keep our plan working, we aim to support families in the case of potential exposure and keep student learning going during that time.  If you or your child had potential exposure or you find yourself or your child developing the unpleasant symptoms of COVID-19, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can assist.  If you or your family need help, we may be able to assist you with what next steps to take as you or your child recover.  Thank you for being diligent so far as our students returned to in-person learning; this is our best way to avoid transmission in the school as well as classroom closures.

We look forward to seeing you either in-person or online tomorrow, Monday, April 5.

Have an excellent evening.
