Terracycle Announcement

The Forest View PTA is proud to support Terracycle. What's Terracycle? It's a speciality recycling program we participate in that keeps certain "hard to recycle" items out of the trash AND provides the PTA with additional funding for our programs. It's a win-win!
Forest View Terracycle Changes:
After a final collection in August terracycle collection at Forest View we will only be for used up Writing/Art supplies.
Due to the effort, it takes to store and sort other items we will not be collecting them at school this year. If you are interested in learning more about terracyle, helping with terracycle or looking for a way to collect other items we have collected in the past please reach out to  Liz Snyder ( and we can talk about ideas.
For those who have been saving terracyle over the summer the bins will be out at the curb in the back parking lot of the school through August 22nd.
At this time we will collect presorted
-Juice pouches (EMPTY Capri-sun, Honest kids silver pouches)-Food Pouches (EMPTY fruit sauce and yogurt pouches), -Bimbo Bakeries USA Bags (brand specific- bread, buns, bagels, and English muffins bags from-Thomas, Sara Lee, Ball park, Arnold and Entamans)-Dental- (tooth brushes, EMPTY toothpaste tubes, dental floss containers)-Writing/Art supplies (All brands of used markers, pens, mechanical pencils as well as empty  glue sticks and paint sets).
Again, After this collection during the 2022-2023 school year at Forest View we will only collect used up Writing/Art supplies.  That is used markers, pens, mechanical pencils as well as empty glue sticks and water color paint sets. There will be a bin at the school where students and teachers can drop these items off.
