Eno Valley Welcomes Our New Assistant Principals

Eno Valley is excited to announce that we are adding two new eagles to the nest! Mrs. Diana Robinson and Mrs. Wintre Shaw will be joining us for our new school year, and will both be taking on the role of assistant principal. Here is a little more about our two new faces on our administration team:

Dianna Robinson is a graduate of North Carolina Central University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked in Durham Public Schools since 2013 beginning her career as a CTE teacher at Southern School of Energy and Sustainability. During the pandemic, Mrs. Robinson transitioned to the elementary world interning at Creekside Elementary. She later became the Assistant Principal at Ignite Online Academy, DPS's first virtual school. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to be an Eagle once again and is looking forward to working with the wonderful Eno Valley team and all the amazing EVE scholars.

Wintre' Shaw obtained her B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading from East Carolina University and MSA from East Carolina University. She began her career in Pitt County as a K-2 interventionist and has worked in Durham Public Schools since 2011 where she has taught grades 2, 4 and 5 as well as served in capacites outside of the classroom in the roles of MTSS Coordinator and Instructional Coach. She also served as the Assistant Principal/Dean of Students of Grades 3 - 5 and Exceptional Children's Program Coordinator at a charter school. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, gardening, and interior designing. She is excited to join Eno Valley to be a part of the Eagle family, and do what she is passionate about - serving students, teachers and our community.

Make sure to give our new assistant principals a warm welcome when you see them around campus!
