Good evening Southern SES family! This is Mr. Leathers with the weekly update.
Please make note that SSES will have a School Improvement/PTSA meeting scheduled for October 3, 2022. The School Improvement Meeting will start at 4:45 pm and the PTSA meeting will start at 6:00 pm. Both meetings will be held in the media center and the Southern SES community is welcomed to attend. This will be our first PTSA meeting and we will work to establish our PTSA officers and then get started with supporting our teachers, students, and school community.
Please make plans for Picture Day Scheduled for September 20th. We would like for all students to have their picture taken on Tuesday, September 20th.
Progress reports are scheduled to go out to all students on September 28th. Make plans to attend our Parent/Teacher conference night Scheduled for 28th…starting at 5:30 pm. You may start working with your students’ teachers and counselors to schedule a meeting on September 28th.
Homecoming will occur on September 30, 2022. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
Let’s congratulate our new Mr. and Miss Southern SES for this school year. Mr. Southern SES is Mr. Thomas Borasky and Miss Southern SES is Monique Joseph. Congratulations to them both and thank you in advance for accepting the responsibilities of being the official school host. I am sure your will represent the school well.
Congratulations to our JV Volleyball team, as well as our Varsity Volleyball teams for their victory last week. The future is bright for Southern SES Volleyball program.
