Due to anticipated inclement weather, all DPS facilities will be closed and all in-person events are canceled on January 8. This will affect DPS Learning Centers, student meal service pick-up locations, athletic events, and screenings for pre-K and ESL students.
All virtual classes and meetings, remote high school exams, and other scheduled online activities will continue as usual.
Today, Thursday, Jan. 7, families may pick up extra meals for Friday and the weekend at all current school and bus pick-up sites. Regular meal service will resume on Monday, Jan. 11.
DPS employees who would continue to work on campuses and office sites should please continue to follow our inclement weather procedures. Employees who are designated essential personnel during inclement weather should report to work as directed by their supervisor. If you have any questions about whether you are designated essential, please contact your supervisor directly.
