  • 4th Annual Black History Expo

    Join us on Thursday, February 27 from 5-8pm as we host our 4th Annual Black History Expo at Neal Middle School! There will be a student wax museum, step team performance, vendors' village, music, a theater play, prizes, dinner, and more.

  • Free Tutoring

    Free tutoring is available! Tutoring will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Students will work in a small group setting on Math, ELA, and Science content and will be working with three teachers to ensure they get the most help possible. Click here to register!

  • AIG Spark Camp

    SPARK Camp is open to all rising 4th – 8th grade AIG identified students enrolled in Durham Public Schools. During the four day camp, students rotate through two classes based on their interest. Past camp classes have included topics such as Can You Escape; History, Mysteries & Conspiracies; Robotic Engineering; and Roller Coaster Craze.     On October 3-5, 2019 in Anaheim, California, Neal Middle School sent a team of 5 students to compete and present at the SchoolsNEXT Competition hosted by the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE), and they walked away with the first place ranking overall in the competition!
