The Spring Virtual Career Expo is now live, allowing students to explore nearly 30 local companies and learn about job opportunities.

November 2, 2020 - November is National Career Development Month! DPS Career & Technical Education will host a series of virtual activities allowing high school students to explore a variety of careers.
April 24, 2019 - Over 35 industry representatives toured architecture and carpentry classrooms at Southern School of Energy and Sustainability on Wednesday, in anticipation of the launch of the DPS Skilled Trades Pathway this Fall 2019.

November 9, 2017 - Eighty-two Food and Nutrition students representing all grade levels at Jordan High School visited California Pizza Kitchen at SouthPoint last Thursday to learn the ins-and-outs of restaurant management.

This summer Ms. Daye participated in Teachers@Work, which connects educators to businesses for an experiential learning opportunity about employable workforce skills that can be transferred to the classroom environment.
