About Durham Public Schools Office of Public Affairs
The Office of Public Affairs (OPA) is dedicated to customer service and is the official information hub for the Durham Public Schools. It is dedicated to educating and raising the awareness of its internal and external publics. The office manages the Durham Public School's communications and media relations activities, and produces internal and external publications for employees, students, and the community. OPA also oversees content on the DPSNC.Net website as well as district-related content on each of the 56 DPS school websites.
Press releases are developed by the OPA and distributed to media outlets to inform the community-at-large about the achievements and recent accomplishments of the district, upcoming events, public awareness campaigns, breaking news, and other pertinent information.
