    All Durham County Schools will be utilizing the NCSTAR program for school improvement planning and implementation. This program provides the school with ongoing, systematic process for school improvement. The links below will allow parents/guardians to access the School Improvement Plan, meeting agendas, and minutes from each meeting. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to be involved in the school improvement process by providing feedback and attending meetings.

    School Improvement Goals and Indicators:

    Goal 1: By June 2024, Pearsontown will increase it's proficiency composite from 81% to 87% as measured by the NC End of Grade Assessments

     

    District Indicator Alignment: Priority 1: Increase Academic Achievement.

     

    Goal 2: By June 2024, Pearsontown will close the Achievement Gap between the              

    ethnic subgroups by 5% and meet our AMO targets at 100% as measured by         

    the State Testing Program.

     

    District Indicator Alignment: Priority 1: Increase Academic Achievement.

     

     

    Goal 3: By June 2024, we will increase the family engagement for our 71 Hispanic           

     families such that 33% of our families are actively engaged in our communications as measured by the parent family engagement survey.
