TESTING
County Testing Access - For families needing access to COVID-19 testing, the Durham Public Health Department offers daily COVID-19 testing. To learn more, visit the DCPH website or the NCDHHS "Find My Testing Place" website.
VACCINATION
Vaccines remain the most effective means of protecting yourself and others from the most severe symptoms of the COVID-19 virus. Durham County Public Health provides vaccinations, including boosters, for any individual aged 5 and up. To learn more about how you can receive the COVID-19 vaccine, visit the DCPH Vaccine Website.
Durham Public Schools will continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 in our community and follow the guidance of local health authorities and the North Carolina Department of Education and Department of Health and Human Services to mitigate spread and keep our students, staff and their families safe.
Understanding that conditions can shift rapidly, DPS will remain flexible to adjust to prevailing conditions and continue to enforce prevention measures and strategies to the extent possible and allowable under North Carolina law. All students, teachers, staff members and adult visitors must wear masks on buses and while inside school buildings during the regular school day.
Please choose from the pages on the left to learn more about how DPS is working to keep our students and staff safe from COVID-19.
