    • The Durham Section of NCNW (National Council of Negro Women) will present up to 4 Education Incentive Awards this school year.

    Alpha Tau Boule Scholarship Application

    • Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity’s Alpha Tau Boule’ of Durham, NC is awarding college scholarships in the amounts of $1,000.00, $750.00, and $500.00 to three deserving African American male high school seniors. The scholarships are renewable for three consecutive years based on continued academic enrollment at an accredited college or university and maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.0 while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours for both fall and spring semesters. Potential total scholarship values are $4,000, $3,000 and $2,000, respectively.


      In addition to a completed application, the applicant must meet the following requirements for consideration of an Alpha Tau Boule’ Scholarship:

      • Be an African American male student graduating form a Durham, NC high school in Spring 2024,
      • Have Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher,
      • Have earned unconditional admittance to an accredited college or university,
      • Obtain recommendations from a high school counselor AND a teacher,
      • Provide a copy of their resume, and,
      • Cannot be a relative of Alpha Tau members.
