Enact | Bridge to Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship provides a $2,500 award to three high school seniors with a desire to pursue higher education. The scholarships will be awarded to BIPOC students (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) in area high schools to assist with the cost of attending a post-secondary institution. The Enact | Bridge to Excellence Scholarship and optional mentorship programs were designed to support students who demonstrate a strong desire to overcome the challenges of being a first-year college student. Our goal is to diversify the talent pipeline for colleges and universities.

This program is optional for the Enact | Bridge to Excellence Scholarship recipients. Mentors for Minority Success will follow the recipients of the scholarship and serve as an additional member of their support system. It has been shown that students who have good mentors have a greater chance of succeeding. The decision not to participate in this program will NOT impact a student’s chances of receiving a scholarship.
