- College Application Check List
- College Application Week is from 7:30 a.m. October 16 through midnight October 20. During this week, many North Carolina colleges and universities waive their application fees. Qualifying students can use the College Board or ACT fee waiver for institutions not waiving their application fees (see your high school counselor for more information). CFNC Application Hub

"Beyond Boundaries," the theme of our conference, echoes the global nature of healthcare and the imperative to address medical challenges on an international scale. This event offers an enriching platform for students interested in traditional pre-medical studies, nursing, and even the dynamic field of biomedical engineering.

LEDA brings together a community of student leaders for a completely free five-week residential program at Princeton University that includes academic preparation for college, leadership training, college guidance support based on individual fit, SAT/ACT preparation, and a chance to experience life on a college campus. LEDA is for life. After the summer institute, the LEDA team continues to work with Scholars intensively on all aspects of their college applications and their transition to and through college. The LEDA community is a network that will continue to provide support and opportunities beyond college graduation.

- NC Criminal Justice Fellows Program - Applications accepted 9/1/23 - 4/30/24
- High school seniors/graduates are eligible to apply for fellowship. Once awarded, recipients of the forgivable loan are required to graduate with their associate degree in two (2) years and, upon graduation, become certified and employed full-time in an eligible criminal justice profession in an eligible North Carolina County for a period of four (4) years. Upon meeting these requirements, a recipient’s loan will be forgiven in full. Additional program information can be found online at https://www.ncdoj.gov/cjfellows.
- NC State Univeristy Open House - October 14 9 AM - 2 PM
- Open House is an opportunity for prospective students and families to see all that NC State has to offer. Student Focused information sessions will be held at various times throughout the day. During the event, NC State’s Main and Centennial Campuses will be open to explore.
