I decided to teach because I really enjoy working with young children. As a little girl I would teach my little sister what I had learned the year before. I just wanted to nurture her. I decided to become and educator because I thought we needed more diversity in educators who could relate to students of color. I did not have many teahcers who looked like me growing up andn wanted to do something to change that I wanted all students to know they can do anything thay want to do as long as they work hard to achieve it. I believe all students can learn, but not all childdren learn at the same rate.
