My name is Ms. Bazemore. I teach 2nd grade here at W.G. Pearson. I have been teaching for 12 years. My passion for educating our youth is to change and inspire one life at a time. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations from North Carolina Central University in Durham, N.C. During my time outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my 7-year-old son. I love traveling, movies, shopping and spending time with my family and friends.

I have been teaching for 3 years and absolutely love what I do. I earned my Bachelors of Elementary Education at UNC Pembroke with a concentration in reading. I have always had a passion for teaching and knew I would become an educator when I was a little girl. I love my job because of the difference I make in my students' lives and the way they shape me as a human being. When I'm outside of school, I can be found walking trails with my dog Quincey, sitting in my backyard reading a book, or cooking.
