Interpretation Services for Graduations at Duke

  • Durham Public Schools secures a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Interpreter and a Spanish Interpreter for each graduation.

    DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING

The deaf and hard of hearing interpreter will be located to the right side of the stage as you look at the stage. Assisted listening devices will be available from Duke’s Disability Management Office table located on the floor next to the Persons with Disability seating area inside of Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Please return assisted listening devices back to that table following the graduation ceremony.

    SPANISH LANGUAGE

Headsets for guests wanting to listen to an audio translation of the graduation ceremony in Spanish are also available. Please stop by the Spanish Language AssistanceTable located upstairs in the South Hall of Honor behind Section 15 to pick up the headsets.

Please return all headsets to the same table following the graduation ceremony.
