Dr. Daniel Kelvin Bullock

Dr. Daniel Kelvin Bullock is the Executive Director for Equity and Professional Development for Durham Public Schools. In this role, he specializes in identifying and reducing inequities that exist in students’ educational experiences. While not restricted to any particular disparities, the foundation of his work is in addressing racial inequities. Dr. Bullock has been an educator for over a decade and has previously served as a social studies teacher and curriculum specialist.

Keaundra Robinson

Keaundra Robinson serves as the Equity Leadership and Strategy Coordinator for Durham Public Schools. In this role, she collaborates with school communities to ensure learning environments are equitable for all stakeholders. Her work includes designing and implementing equity-driven professional development for teachers and leaders, as well as facilitating department-specific professional development at all levels in Durham Public Schools. She directly supports teachers leadership by guiding DPS Equity Champions through professional development and best practices to implement at their respective schools. She is a 2019 DPS Teacher of the Year semi-finalist who anchored equity in every learning opportunity as a middle school English Language Arts teacher. She is passionate about engaging in equity work for all students, especially those farthest from justice.

Iwinosa Idahor, Ph.D.

Dr. Iwinosa Idahor serves as the Student Equity, Engagement and Opportunity Coordinator for Durham Public Schools. In this role, she primarily provides support and facilitates additional professional learning for We Are KINGS/We Are QUEENS coordinators across the district. Along with supporting coordinators, in collaboration with various stakeholders, she also supports the development, implementation and evaluation of equity-focused initiatives that centers students from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups. Her myriad of experiences with students include work at the K-12 and college levels, in traditional and non-traditional settings.

Ms. Lois Murphy

Ms. Lois Murphy serves as the Special Projects Support Administrator for the Office of Equity and Professional Development. Her time and experience in Durham Public Schools spans many years across several departments. Her contributions within her role continue to increase efficiency and add value to the work of this office/department.
