Oak Grove will create a community of students, staff, and parents working together to provide a high-quality education for all students, and to foster lifelong learners and responsible citizens.

Oak Grove will display a student-centered environment where students and teachers take ownership and are actively engaged in meaningful, relevant differentiated instruction and learning.  Using technology, teachers will facilitate the development of digital learners while simultaneously enriching their own professional growth.

History:

In 1927 four schools, Mineral Springs, Southview, Southview Annex and Redwood were consolidated at Minerals Springs Road.  On August 25, 1993 the doors opened to the new Oak Grove Elementary for kindergarten through 5th-grade students.

In our caring school community, all of the adults share the responsibility to ensure every child’s behavioral and academic success.  We all have high standards for ourselves and for each other.
