The Advanced Placement (AP) Program at Jordan High School provides 20 different courses to challenge and enrich students while preparing them for advanced pursuits after high school. We serve approximately 600 students and have been very proud of the hard work and growth shown in these courses as well as the outstanding pass rates that often exceed global averages. In 2018-19, Jordan High School was one of two schools in Durham Public Schools selected to offer the AP Capstone Program, a two-year program which provides students the opportunity to both do research and present findings on topics of interest to them.
