2012 DPS Teacher of the Year

DPS is proud to recognize our outstanding teachers through the Teacher of the Year program. Each school selects a Teacher of the Year and a selection committee selects 10 finalists to compete for four semi-finalist slots. From among these four, the DPS Teacher of the Year is named.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Triangle Orthopaedics Associates and NC Specialty Hospital, all school Teachers of the Year are recognized at a banquet on May 10 at the Washington-Duke Inn and Golf Course where we will announce this year’s district-level winner who will go on to represent Durham Public Schools in the state competition. The winner who will be presented with $1000. Each of the three semi-finalists will also recieve $500 cash awards.
