2013 DPS Teacher of the Year

DPS is proud to recognize our outstanding teachers through the Teacher of the Year program. Each school selects a Teacher of the Year and a selection committee selects 10 semi-finalists to compete for five finalist slots. From among these five, the DPS Teacher of the Year is named.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Triangle Orthopaedics Associates and NC Specialty Hospital, all school Teachers of the Year are recognized at a banquet on May 9 at the Washington-Duke Inn and Golf Course where we will announce this year’s district-level winner who will go on to represent Durham Public Schools in the state competition. The winner who will be presented with $1000. Each of the four semi-finalists will also recieve $500 cash awards.
